Out among the stars I sail

Someone asked me what my new years resolution was for 2008. I simply said - to run a marathon. And I will run a marathon. One week from this very moment I will have crossed the line, medal around my neck. And every step of the way, there I will be, right beside myself, the me who never thought good things could happen, who never thought she would ever be beautiful, the me who never thought she could.

I will take her hand and together we will cross the line. And more than I ever have before. I will believe I can.
